| I still a bit confused. Are we to build a website that has a blog in it OR is the wordpress blog to be the actual website? Thanks! |

| Not to post a generic answer - but it depends what you want to do! What is it that you want to accomplish? |

To do what I'd guess the rest of us are here for... to be a SUPER affiliate and make piles of money so we never have to have a J.O.B. ever again. Seeing your website helped me to know where you are coming from. I'd be wanting to take the 'Internet Marketer' route. |

| If it's one or the other then I would recommend the blog it has much more flexibility and you can do much of the updating yourself without hiring a programmer. |

You can use a blog to create semi-static pages (those that do not change often) and make the blog look like it is not a blog, but a regular website. That way you can have the best of both worlds.
If you plan on using WordPress, there is a plugin called WP-cache that makes the pages static so the site does not hit the database for every visitor. That helps load the pages faster on high traffic sites. |
