UK or USA

Hi, i am a Newbie just starting out. i am based in the UK. I was wondering is it best to stick to UK affiliate programs or US or does it not really matter??

Why not try a bit of both and see which works out better for you?

Some of it will depend upon what niche(s) you are trying to market. Some will do better in the UK, some better in the US.

You may wish to try performing searches on keywords/phrases within the niche(s) in question to see which country has more action for them, and do as Katherine suggested: experiment with both and compare the results.

Either way, do somethiing! That way, you're taking action, learning what to do, and will get some results. In addition to what you will learn from the results, you will benefit from the experience gained from the process! Wink

Hi Simon,

I am from the UK too, and I know your dillema, I have the same Smile

But in my opinion, it will depend on your target market.
Let's say you have a blog to promote your affiliate product, and the niche of the blog is about tourism in London Area. In this case, a local Affiliate Programme would be more suitable.
If your niche is more International, than something more general would be a better choice.

I would do a little research and try for other english speaking countries. The more variety you have the better youre market will hopefully be.
