Hi Everybody,
I am looking to evaluate a working ratio for impressions to click throughs to conversions.
In today's ecommerce, what is the bottom line for this kind of ratio?
Thanks for your input

Hi!
In my case I work in several different niches and find that those ratios differ for the different customer bases. what might be low in IM could be high in others or visa versa.
What I've done over the years is to compete against myself in the individual niches. In other words if my click through rate is 10% today (100 impressions and 10 click throughs) then I tweak the ad until I can increase the click through using split tests.
Of course I try to test both the conversion ratio and click through at the same time because ultimately I want the best conversion rate based on the number of people who see my sales letter/ optin/ whatever.
So while there may be industry standards (and I say 'may' since not everyone shares those numbers) they shouldn't mean anything to you because you can get numbers that are higher. If you compete against yourself without a glass ceiling, so to speak, you never know where you'll end up!
