My name is Jim Hutchinson and I've been developing and hosting websites since 1998. The past 7 years I have focused primarily on building replicatable sites for affiliates. Business has been pretty good to me, but the time has come to make a change.

Not being able to sit at a computer all day any more, and many days not being able to function at all, I'm now turning to marketing, with hopes of putting the right products on autopilot. I have purchased countless marketing-related ebooks over the years and read them all. Three problems have existed though. One is finding the time and ability to focus in between programming projects to put those methods into action.

The second problem is retraining my brain to think more creatively in the sales end of things, rather than view the intricate details of them as most techies would. Programming and marketing usually don't mix very well.

And third, keeping the income flowing while learning how to get the sales coming in.

The Super Affiliate Handbook is by far the largest and most in-depth training manual I have seen so far. With persistence, time management and participating in this forum, I should soon be on track to succeeding in affiliate marketing. I believe there really is hope for all of us here, no matter what our backgrounds are. Very Happy

All the best!

Jim

Welcome Jim,

Oh, I can so appreciate not being able to sit at a computer all day anymore! There are days that I do, and I'm usually sorry afterwards.

While programming and marketing don't typically mix well, I can think of several programmer / software developers in the field that do both very well... Jeff Alderson comes to the top of that list.

You have the benefit of having run a successful business IN the industry, so that's a HUGE leg up.

What's the question most frequently asked by your customers? Is that something that you could write a report on and sell? Is there anyone else doing it, and if so, are they making money at it... ie. do you see their product all over the place?

Yes?

Then do likewise, just do it YOUR way.

Thanks much for the compliment on the Super Affiliate Handbook and I wish you the best of success!

Cheers,
Ros
