I am short on budget so I need to decide whether I should use Article Announcer or Content Propulsion Lab.

To date, I have been submitting my articles manually. This is a painful task.

If anyone has test driven both software, perhaps you can share your experience.

Hi Arman,

I see a note on the ContentDesk site that Content Propulsion Lab isn't available, but you can sign up to be notified when it does become available.

I use ArticleAnnouncer myself and have found that it works like a charm.

Highly recommended!

Cheers,
Ros

Rosalind, I'm considering using articleannouncer or similar. One concern I have though...will the Search Engines downgrade my site because of duplicate content, when all these other sites use my article?

Thanks

The effect of having the same article distributed across a number of websites is that they may well be treated as duplicate content and so you won't necessarily get the maximum amount of benefit from any embedded links.

Could this hurt your websites ranking? If your website is pushed into the supplemental results then YES!

This is one of the biggest flaws with early article submission software. More sophisticated submitters such as Artemis Pro overcome this shortcoming by submitting a different version of the same base article to each article directory or list.

How does it do this?

Unlike some other applications that swap words for synonyms, which can result in articles that don't read quite right, Artemis Pro works on a paragraph level.

If you structure your articles appropriately then a typical article of 6 paragraphs, tweaked a few times, results in hundreds of different articles that will read well because entire paragraphs remain intact.

Artemis Pro also automates the submission process so that articles are only submitted to relevant ezines and directories. This feature alone makes your submissions much more likely to be accepted than taking a shotgun approach that most other software uses.

I highly recommend Article Announcer by Jason Potash. This is not just a submission software but a full course on article writing and the do's and don'ts.

The five hours of audio with John Reese drilling Jason for the answers to questions and concerns from real people is worth the ticket price by itself.
