I have been a subscriber of your NTP for a few months. Just this month, I started my own Ezine list and incorporated something unique which was to send blog updates to my list through my Ezine mailings as well.
But then not too long later, I saw that you started offering NTP blog updates through emails. It was at a time when I was starting to wonder if sending blog updates through my ezine everytime I made a new post would be sending too many ezine emails, and whether I should revert to sending compilation of blog updates through my weekly ezine instead.
But your move made me feel I was doing the right thing. Another thing I have been doing since I started my site not too long ago, was that I tend to use the mouse over script to change the status bar display regarding the link info so it would contain keywords instead of unsightly affiliate code.
I don't think I've observed you doing this before but today when I read your http://www.netprofitstoday.com/_articles/colin-mcdougall-veo-report.html , I saw that the link VEO Report was using the mouse over script to display VEO Report in the status bar.
It's uncanny that certain things that I do, you'd start to be doing them not long after. I kinda get the funny idea that you've been observing my site and what I've been doing and using those ideas as well. Either that or we share a special connection. |

Hello MindReality,
It must be a special connection indeed, 'cause I don't have time to 'watch' a lot of what other people are doing on their sites.
For the most part, I've always 'done my own thing', and am therefore usually late to get on the bandwagon.
As for blog to email, I was asked for that feature, so I did.
I've been using onmouseovers for years. Just check out my dating site, Sage-Hearts.com
Not all the links are setup that way, but when I have time to go back, I try to add them bit by bit.
Silly, but I've probably done that less at NetProfitsToday where it would actually be more useful.
You won't find any in the 'Marketing Tools Directory' here, because I haven't figured out how to add those to the Webmerge datafeed processing software... yet.
I've got a macro programmed to add the onmouseover to my links. Looks like this...
| Quote: | | rel="nofollow" onMouseOut="window.status=''; return true" onMouseOver="window.status=''; return true" target="new" |
Then I just add whatever I want into the onMouseOver="window.status='';.
Anyway, let me know what you're planning next, eh?
Cheers,
Ros

OK... now I WANT it!
I've got to add onmouseovers to my website... that was just too cool watching the status bar show the website name and keywords! |

Hi Callie,
You can just copy and past the code that I have in quotes above within your link.
Then place what you want to show in between the quotes in the onmouseover section.
Cheers,
