I recently bought Rosalind's Excellent Super Affiliate Handbook so I thought I would pop in to say hi.

I am not exactly new to affiliate marketing as I have been involved in it part time for the last 7 years but mainly in the adult area of marketing. Or the selling of memberships to websites that contain entertainment of an adult nature

Over the last year though I have began to diversify my skills and start selling non-adult services such as long distance telephone services, software etc.

The adult side has paid well but it's hard to stay on top in such an over saturated market.

I have learnt a lot on the way about site design, scripts, hosting (I now have my own dedicated server) so hopefully these skills can be put to good use in my new mainstream marketing ventures.

My number one goal for this coming year is to quit my J.O.B. and make online selling my main income.

Two years ago I probably could have done this but was always apprehensive due to the nature of my product, legislation, what would people think etc.

Hopefully armed with my with my Super Affiliate Handbook and my new range of products I can make it happen this year.

Hi Iain,

I hear you on the adult theme. I played around with that for awhile in the beginning as well. What I discovered was that although the money was fabulous, the effect on the soul was depressing... so I decided to quit that avenue.

There's plenty of opportunity in other niches that are also lucrative.

My best advice is to find something you love, and love to talk about. Build up a subscriber base and talk to them!
