|

I am a newbie, no $$ yet.
Niche was to be "nutrition by condition" where I would discuss different diseases and life stages and make recommendations on proper nutrition, safe supplements, books, etc. This matches my knowledge, experience and most importantly, my passion.
Next, I turned my energy into selecting products to sell. This proved to be a challenge!
The challenge was to find products on my niche that were excellent in quality and also profitable.
I measure profitability in terms of sufficient related keyword demand and decent commission
After much research I closed in on quality profitable products, but they didn’t directly feed into my niche.
So, I decided to twist it a little. Instead of focusing on nutrition alone, I will focus on natural health management
Sections
Nutrition
Safe supplements
What your doctor might suggest - And why you might want to fight back
The stress factor an the healing power of the mind
Save the children - how to prevent your disease on the little ones you love
That would be discussed by each condition and life stage
Diabetes
Heart Disease
Pregnancy (save the children doesn't apply for life stages)
is this a mall or a theme park? (Rosalind's handbook)
In one hand it seems to be too disperse, but in the other hand it is focused on managing your health on an effective holistic and natural way.
If this is too broad I was thinking on using focused landing pages instead.
So my questions are
1. - Is a page with the following health management topics by condition too broad?
Nutrition
Safe supplements
What your doctor might suggest - And why you might want to fight back
The stress factor an the healing power of the mind
Save the children - how to prevent your disease on the little ones you love
2. - How about landing pages? Is it advisable to use them instead of or in addition to a web site? |

Hi NewMom0208
Good question and one I'm happy to see you considering... mall vs. theme park is STILL one of the biggest mistakes I see new affiliates make, despite the lengthy discussion in the Super Affiliate Handbook.
I think you've got a theme park in the works, but I would want you to really focus your topics around the products that you're planning to sell.
Provided your domain name doesn't force you down a particular path, you can build your site out as you go along...
So, start with a full discussion of safe supplements (these become your product reviews), then build it out for applicable diseases (heart disease etc) from which you can link back to the product review/supplement sales pages.
Too, focus on one disease topic quite thoroughly before moving on to the next.
Lastly, add your categories only when you have content for them.
Does that make sense? |

| Well, you made the a good choice for that particular niche sadly you find hard to get the product match. Twisting it at least you find what you are looking for. Goodluck! |
