I see Ros and others promote Aweber. Is there a difference between what they and Constant Contact have to offer? I already have Constant Contact and don't want to switch over unless necessary.
Thanks. |

It appears that both Aweber an Constant Contact offer the same services. So if you are happy with the tools they offer, stay there.
Doing a comparison between the two is a good idea to see if there is anything that Aweber offers that you need and do not have now. |

Most internet marketers need a system with autoresponder ability.
AWeber offers this.
For example, this site 'netprofitstoday' uses the autoresponder to send out e-mails to a client based on a schedule. E-mail #1 may reintroduce the site and explain what is possible at npt. Second and subsequent e-mails are sent to a client as a part of the relationship building. E-mail #1 might be sent out 1 day after the prospect signs up. Email #2 may follow 3 days later. Email #3 may follow one week later. An so on.
Now without an autoresponder you can't sequence your e-mail messages to the client.
Now if all you want to do is create newsletters or informative e-mails and send them to your whole group then Constant Contact would suffice.
But if you need to market to your clients using a sequenced set of e-mails you need to find a company that has the autoresponder ability. AWeber is one that I have found.

Thanks Robert
That was a good explanation. I thought Constant Contact had autoresponder capabilities so I went searching their site. What I found is that you can schedule campaigns.
When you do, the campaign is put into a staging sequence where only part of the letters are sent. The Compliance Team reviews the content and bounces. If both are acceptable, then the remainder of the campaign is released.
More info on that can be seen in their List Staging Document (PDF)
What that tells me is Constant Contact is closely monitored, whereas I have not seen that with Aweber. |
