I want to add a search engine to my site - Am I saying it correctly? I want the visitor to be able to search my site - not the web. Make sense? How do I do this?
Thanks in advance, I just love this forum.

You can get the Google Site Search code at
http://www.google.com/sitesearch/
You will need a Google account to get it. |

Thanks Jim - I went to that site and did the 'try it out' and I typed in my url but no matter what I searched for - I got nothing! Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for your time - I appreciate it. |

Your site should be indexed before it can search using Google. Make sure all the pages you want searched are either linked on a menu, or in a page named sitemap.
You can also create a sitemap.xml file and put it in your root folder. You can find info on sitemap files at the Google Webmaster Tools page.
Using any of the methods above allows Google to index all your pages. |
