|
|
| I'm working on a mini site right now that compares guitar instructional courses that I think would be profitable with a google adwords campaign. I'm trying to calculate profitability scenarios and I've been looking at google's estimations for its adwords average cpc, and click throughs. I'm finding that google lists some incredibly high average cpc's on popular keywords. I realize the competition for spots on heavily searched keywords can be high, but how can any campaign be profitable with cpc of $1.50? That seems insanely high, and would necessitate a very very high conversion rate just to break even, let alone make a profit. Seeing this scared me a little. From everyones experiences, what have been some of your average cpc's with google? Or how could I calculate profitability on a campaign? Thanks for the help. |

Hi Snousain
CPC varies widely depending on the niche and I pay upwards of a buck in some niches, but you're right, I think that $1.50 for that particular niche is insanely expensive.
Have you tried checking either YSM or Microsoft AdCenter to see what their estimated costs might be?
Cheers,
