|
|
| I am going to be launching a membership site in the near future and plan to use an affiliate program to help drive traffic and sales. I have software that I can use to track affiliate sales and pay affiliate commissions through Paypal. Any thoughts on whether I should go this route or use Clickbank to promote my product? My product will not lend itself well to offering the 60-day guarantee that Clickbank requires, so I'm hesitant to go that route, but I need to figure out how to deal with the trust issues that arise with private affiliate programs. Thanks for any advice! |

HI Justin,
I would be wary about using Clickbank for this. As a vendor in Clickbank I have noticed that they will refund money, no questions asked. For example I had one customer emailing them and saying "I have forgotten what I bought, please can you give me a refund". They got a refund straight away with no effort to remind the customer what they bought. You also get serial refunders. As an affiliate I noticed one guy buying 4 or 5 products from my site (all different vendors) and getting a refund for each one over the course of a month.
You may want to consider using idevaffiliate - http://www.idevdirect.com/
Or perhaps PayDotCom - http://www.paydotcom.com
Cheers,
