Hello All!
I have been doing IM on an extremely part-time basis for about 1 year now. Very rudimentary (but strategic) IM, much of which I learned from Rosalind's book and this forum. (Basically, I'm not rich. . .yet. . .)
While I won't go into all the grizzly details of the mill I've been through in the last year, the latest round of catastrophes included the demise of my home-built-from-dumpster-dived-parts desktop PC.
I have just purchased my VERY FIRST EVER, store-bought, whiz-banging, State-of-the-(last-year's)-art, desktop PC solely with the earnings from my IM efforts! To paraphrase a popular credit card blurb:
"Life's constant attempts at setbacks. . .crappy. . ."
"Having my business pay for everything it needs on its own. . .PRICELESS!!!"
I'm so-o-o-o STOKED!
The bottom line? Keep at it folks, it DOES work if you WORK it, and then it just gets better!
Persevere to Prosperity!
Griff

WAY to GO, Griff!
Love your attitude and resourcefulness, man. (Always do). Dumpster-dived computer, indeed. Right on. Hope you give it the decent burial it deserves for having helped you get this far.
Too, everyone should take the point about buying after they've made the money...

That is so true, and you should be stoked!!!
Awesome!
Cheers,

Thank you, Ros, I owe much of it to you, your SAH and NPT!

Decent burial? NO WAY! I've gutted it for remaining useful parts, and that rascal's gettin' bronzed & put in the trophy case (framing that first profit dollar is so-o-o passé )!
Thanks again for EVERYTHING!

Thank you both, Brad & Jim!
I'm STILL stoked! (. . .and still trying to adjust to Windows "Beasta" (Vista), . . .)
@ Brad: Got the email, attempted to send response Friday evening, but had problems with "Beasta" not playing well with my N1 wireless antenna. Bought a different one that it works with and resent message this morning @ 0015 hours Eastern. Please let me know if you got either, both or none.
@ Jim: Yeah, I've been dumpster building PC's for my, and other home-schooling families since the '90's 'cuz we couldn't afford to buy them new off the shelf. Never really needed bleeding edge, but I can't express how excited I am having something that's actually considered "current technology". I hadn't hoped to find dual-core processing machine parts in dumpsters for at least another 2 years, now I have one with a warranty! WHEE-E-E-E-E! (Sorry, I don't know how to act at this speed, Remember that old Maxell commercial? It fits. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2WcBi9mu6A )
And yes! I will most certainly be able to do more now in the time I have for IM, so things just got ratcheted up a notch. . .or is that niche!?
I'm still in a state of frustrated ("Beasta") euphoria (NEW PC!) as I post this with it even now.
Thanks again fellas, I couldn't have done it without you guys too!
