Hi, guy and gals, I've posted on here numerous times throughout this forum, and now I've finally finished my site.

I would greatly appreciate any opinions or advice on what you think about it.

Hello Cav!

I like it! (I'm kind of partial to unique table lamps and sconces. . .)

The only things that I noticed (and this is strictly MY opinion, heh, heh) is that your header text is difficult to read in the busy header graphic (I do like the graphic, though), the site is "left-justified" in my browsers, and your front page skyscraper ad pictures a *gasp* chandelier, (as opposed to a table lamp, lol).

Again, this is just my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed perusing your site, and have gotten a few ideas for my bus conversion from it (saving my pennies up for you now. . .).

What types of articles do you anticipate publishing? Lamp types, styles, repairs, collectible lamps, or. . .?

Nice work! Looking forward to watching it go and grow! Cool

Persevere to Prosperity!

The kind of articles I'm looking to post up are related to lighting and perhaps some home decor ideas for now. Once again thank you for the input so much. About the chandelier, it was the only skyscraper they had, looking at new ideas though.

I would agree that the header is a bit hard to read. I would also move your e-mail capture box up closer to the top.

The money is in the list, after all. Other than that, nice job!

Hi Cav -

Probably just me but these tired eyes are having trouble with the font in the header. The graphics are fine but something I learned long ago is that it doesn't matter whether you like it too much - it's how well it can be read, navigated and whether it turns off your customers. To me (and maybe because I'm tired tonight) the last word (YOU) looks like ROU because of the 'y'. I had to read it two or three times.

The entire page is left side justified in my browser - Firefox. And if you want to leave it that way I would get rid of the white border in the right column of the page.

On the home page you have an ad in the right column but then it disappears on the other pages - are you planning to put in ads on all pages? You could put the optin box above the ad in the right column and make the color to match the margins.

Hope that helps!

Gail
