I am so overwhelmed with thoughts and ideas I don't know what to do next!!

The current site only addresses one of many alternative financial solutions I plan to promote thru this site geared towards small and mid-sized business owners.

I envision the site to cover loan products, equipment leasing, merchant cash advances, and other financial solutions/products, as well as credit card processing (including articles on finding a reputable provider, appropriate rates and fees, questions to ask, etc...), business credit cards, and other articles geared towards helping small-business owners grow from Point A to Point B.

I've worked in this area for a number of years - and know first hand there are a lot of pitfalls out there - and want to provide the type of content that can help business owners avoid some very expensive mistakes.

I actually have 2 domain names - the one I plan to focus on in the future www.beyondthebankfinancing.com - is now merely pointed towards the live smaller niche site ... www.beyondthebankfunding.com. Both domains currently take you to the same place.

Ros - I am really interested in your phone consulting service - but am not sure if I am 'ready' for it yet. Any thoughts??

Anything you'd recommend/suggest would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hello all -

In my original post - my 'shout out' to Ros was supposed to come after my appeal for help from the rest of the forum board. The way it ended up looks like I only seek her input - and would really love to hear from everyone!

Thank you!!!

No worries Caseykt2008, no offense taken by anyone, I'm sure! Laughing (We'd have probably jumped in anyway, heh, heh. . .)

It sounds to me like you have answered your own question: write articles, tip sheets, or an ebook on those pitfalls and how to avoid them. Use them as content for additional site pages to introduce your new products and services, or offer them as their own info-product, or use it as an opt-in freebee to start generating a mailing list for periodic "insider tips" for targeted offers of your services, or all of the above. Then continue to write your "insider tips" or go into finer detail on topics you've already breached. You can use these to introduce your new products & services as you add them.

Initially, I would suggest covering one topic at a time, in depth and in detail, then branch out from it to the related sub-niches one at a time. You have done a great job on your site thus far, now it's just a matter of continuing to broaden your visitors knowledge. Since your site starts out offering financing utilizing a credit card receipt-based payment method to business owners, to me the next logical step is to expand your content whatever item from your list

will provide the most immediate savings to your visitors/prospects. By doing this, they will benefit from the "instant" savings on operating expenses, and give you credibility as an authority. This can show them how to save money even while they are paying you for your services. Then simply continue to show them where and how they can save additional money while avoiding the pitfalls you will describe.

As concerns the pitfalls: Don't pull any punches, clarity on the severity of those pitfalls can add weight to your "call to action". Provided the clarity of severity is indeed factual, you can spin a certain level of "perceived detriment" to falling into those pitfalls and offer your prospects a rope with a good knot on the end for them to hang on to as you pull them out with your knowledge and services.

I think you have the makings for a VERY profitable presence in this arena. Just take a deep breath, chart out your plan, then act on that plan, one strategic step at a time.

Please keep us posted on your progress, and best wishes for your succes! Very Happy

Griff

Well actually, following your "beyondthebankfunding" link gives me this error:

This domain is missing from the Web server configuration
The domain name is correctly pointing at a valid Web server. This Web server does not recognize this domain name as a valid Web site.
If you are the Webmaster please contact Technical Support.

You may want to look into that. . .

P2P! Cool

Some additional considerations: Blogging / community buiding, slide show / video examples of savings / comparisons, and if you have any clients that will offer testimonials, get 'em! Smile

Thanks for the heads up - on the phone with technical support at register.com right now. The website is operational - if you type www.beyondthebankfunding.com in the brower - it opens ok. For some reason, this link doesn't seem to be working.

Go figure??

Thanks SO MUCH for the excellent feedback. I've been feeling 'stuck' or bogged down or whatever - so really appreciate your insight!!

Thanks again!

You're quite welcome anytime, Caseykt2008, glad if it helped! Very Happy

As strange as it may sound, any action is better than no action, even if it's wrong! By taking some form of action, you're not stagnating. If it's right, you score and your efforts benefit, if it's wrong, you still benefit from the learning experience, but at least you have done something. It can seem like a long, slow process, but that should not daunt you because all your efforts will pay off BIG down the road as long as you keep at it! If you're not moving forward you're going the wrong way, and if you're not moving at all. . .well. . .!!! Laughing

Keep up the good work and. . .

Persevere to Prosperity! (P2P) Cool
