|
|
Hello,
I have a blog and a product review website that will earn money from Google Adsense.
I have decided to form an LLC for my blog and website to protect my personal assets. Some of the paperwork asks "what type of business" I have.
Do I say affiliate marketer, marketer, blogger, or publisher?
Thanks,
Jack |

Hello Jack
I would put Internet marketing for the business type. |

Thanks Jim.
Now that the LLC is formed, how do I ensure that each of the domains are covered under the LLC?
Will a copyright at the footer of each page automatically protect the domain if there is a lawsuit or do I need the change the legal registrant with the hosting and or registration company? |

My opinion is you need to seek the advice of an attorney. But I will say that if the domains are registered to you personally, then who is personally responsible other than you?
Copyright only protects your content from use by others. It doesn't protect others from you.
You may be able to overcome this by adding your company name to your domain info at the domain registrar. GoDaddy allows this, don't know about others.
