Hi Everyone-
Per Jims' suggestions I am to put to the forum what my likes and dislikes are in hopes of suggestions for a niche idea.
Jim and Grif have been nudgeing me to start a blog about my cancer experiences. I want to make money and, to me, I don't see a lot of cash coming my way down the road. It's not that I don't want to share and help others but I need cash!!
I'm not good at anything that I know of..'Jack of all trades, master of none.'
I like music, music instruments, I like to take pictures, go to garage sales, I play chess although, my 21 yr old son is starting to beat me.
I have a cockatiel named Jack, I've had 2 golden retrievers Hank and Joey.
I did win a trophy for best trained dog thru the Humaine society.
The fact is everyone, I'm not really passionate about any of it but, what I am passionate about is finding quality affiliate products. Build a mini site where they land and have 2 choices, buy or don't buy. Then, repeat the process over and over again.
I don't have to be passionate about the product. I just want it to perform(sales).
I almost sound callus, I'm not. It's just I don't want to mess around.
Jim?-I took your advice with the adware/spyware protection. I even found a free program thru microsoft that fixed my email!
Hey Jim, I hope this finds you feeling ok today.
Any thoughts from anyone?
Thanks Bob-axnjxn-Jackson |

We all do, that's why we're here.
Do not expect this to be easy. The more research I do, the more I realize it's gonna be a lot of work. But what's important is to find something (anything, even if it ends up failing you still get better at it), stick to it and actually put in an effort to get something done.

Product idea: beginner's course in an instrument. If you can play anything decently you can probably teach someone else to do it. If you can play multiple instruments, even better. You can start your own "Rocket Instruments" or something.

If you're good at it you can sell them online. Do a google search for picture directories where they actually sell them and sign up.

ebay. You could learn what sells and doesn't sell then browse garage sales to find dirt cheap items that sell for 10 times as much.

If you won a trophy I doubt you're just a jack of this trade. A dog training book would be a good product (although from what I understand animal niches, especially dog and cat ones, are pretty saturated). |

Bob
I just finished listening to a 1 hour radio interview with Darren Rouse of ProBlogger.net. It has some good tips on starting a profitable blog. He offers the audio file when you register for his free newsletter. It would be good for you to listen to it. |

Hi Bob!
If you are trying for fast cash over night, Internet Marketing may not be a good venue for you. There IS a good living to be made via IM, but very few that I know of have been an over night success right out of the gate, and those that were had extensive planning & preparation prior to launch.
To grow and prosper takes time and development, just like any other business does. If you need immediate, short-term cash, perhaps some sort of traditional employment could keep you afloat until your IM business plan comes together & takes off.
Not trying to crush any dreams here, just trying to be realistic.
Hope this helps! |

Hi Bob,
I don't know if you've checked these out yet, maybe you have, but I thought it might be worth a mention... there are 3 articles in the Find Your Niche section of our articles database that you might find interesting and useful.
On the category homepage you'll see 10 HOT Niche Market Research Sites,

I hope that helps!
