Roz & company:
recently Roz blogged on making 'FaceBook' friends.
http://clicks.aweber.com/y/ct/?l=K2I0R&m=3zdx3p._lf8m&b=sT_SqZkG6OfFovn6H3eFCA
I commented that I 'attempted' to make Facebook friends with Jim Cramer,,,, a man that's famous for his nightly hi-energy tips on Stocks, commodity trading.
Jim didnt answer me so, nothing ventured, nothing lossed. For petty sake - the man is a national hero to the working man. Why would he want to be FaceBook friends with me? ? ?
actually, he just accepted my request.
now what? how does Henry take advantage of that new found Web2.0 Friend ?
suggestions/advice please. |

Henry,
"Take advantage" is the wrong way to look at it. Facebook is a social networking site. You'll have to get your mindset away from "taking advantage" to use Facebook effectively.
I suggest you thank him for adding you as a friend, either publicly on his wall or privately via email. If he has a group to join, do so.
Your post seems to suggest you want something from this relationship. What do you have to give?

Lowell,
sorry I havent replied sooner, I should check in more often.
to answer your question - I really doubt I have anything to offer that Jim Cramer needs or wants.
but he did include me as a FaceBook friend and frankly put that is what I wanted.
taking advantage? In my very limitted knowledge of search engine rankings, it was said to be involved with FaceBook in order my site is passed around or tied to bigger things then mine. But as you already mentioned, not to make sales or do business.
thank you for the advice and the reminder. |
