I thought I was doing great.
I knew I wanted to talk about health and lifestyles transformations.
Selected a hosting, registered my domain, installed wordpress and even published a few posts about general nutrition. (www.wisecovery.com)
After further market research I selected my niche. Nutrition information based on condition (weight loss, diabetes, heart decease, etc) I would promote safe supplements, books, and even visualization music for health management.
I wanted to have at least 20 good articles to then start with Adsense while I select which specific products I want to market (the best ones).
Suddenly, I am stuck, I find the task daunting. I know I don’t need to publish an encyclopedia. But I am so anxious that I am paralyzed. I haven’t work on my site for 5 days when I was doing 2 hours per day.
Can anyone relate?
Any advice? |

Hi NewMom0208!
Stop! Take a deep relaxing breath, then write ONE article at a time. You don't need all of them all at once. Just take them one at a time and before ya know it you'll have 20+ of 'em drawing traffic.
It's easy to feel overwhelmed because you want your site to be complete (yeah, right. . .) and looking it's best out of the gate, but reality says that the more you learn, the more you'll tweak it until it's closer to what you envisioned, and as long as what you DO post is quality content, your visitors will be back for new information.
Just relax, Rome wasn't built in a day either, heh, heh. Everything will all come together, just take one step at a time and don't freeze up worrying about the big picture. Start painting that picture from one corner and before ya know it, your whole wall will be a beautiful mural!
Best wishes for your success & keep us posted on how it goes!

You're Welcome, NewMom028!
(Most, if not all new IM'ers have suffered brain-lock at one point or another. I know I did! )
