Hi Angela
The first thing I recommend is making the introduction page your main page. That is the one you have at http://lpnadvocate.wordpress.com/2008/04/
It is a great intro to your site. That will also give people a reason to scroll down and see your other links.
The mouse-over effect on the image does not have to be on that page because it is supposed to show a screen shot of your home page, but shows a 404 File Not Found error instead in the image.
The next thing is to choose another template; one that reflects your business model.
There are many plugins to make your blog more interactive. A list of the most highly recommended ones that Brad, our moderator and I put together, are at Affiliate Referral Sources Blog
Your work is showing. Keep it up!

Thanks Jim,
I changed to wordpress.org as I see we can't advertise on the other one. I can't for the life of me download any new themes. How do I make one certain page always remain my home page. I see some other themes which have "home" at the top. Ahhhh I'm getting a tad frustrated but will plug along.
Cheers

In your Admin, click Settings >> Reading >> select A Static Page (select below) and choose the page you want shown as your home page.
If there is none in the list, create a page: Write >> Page. Keep the title short. There is a way you can replace the page at the Home button by naming the new page Home and the Post Slug home (lower case).
If you end up with 2 home pages, go into Manage >> Pages and delete the original.
On WordPress.org I think you have to use the themes that they provide. Hosting the blog on your own domain and hosting space allows more flexibility. With that, you can download the theme, upload (FTP) the files to your site (wp-content/themes) and activate it in your WordPress Admin in the Design section.
Hope that helps.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the info, I managed to get a "home" page which is nice.
I've tried uploading different themes but I'll let bluehost deal with it as I can't seem to get it.
Think I'll play with some plug ins to make my site a little more pleasing. Besides needing a few things I don't think it looks all that bad.
Thanks again for your help
