Ros,
In starting to research my subject niche and web-based solutions, I have been bookmarking sites I feel would be a good fit for my future visitors.
One of my big questions is: How do I know that these vendors will be "hooked up" to affiliate with some organization like Commission Junction or that new one you just recently wrote of, PepperJam? Is there a way to know the sites I would be able to affiliate with before joining an affiliate program? These sites that I'm "collecting" don't seem to mention any sort of affiliate alliance available.
I'm guessing that you would suggest that I jump right in. I'm not at that point yetas I've not worked on the physical website construction. Having finally locked in my niche (I think). I just started working on the basic text and future related page links.
Thank you, Ros!
P.S. - Having just registered for the 4 day "seminar" with Derek Gehl, that should push me forward - can't wait till April 21st... |

One way to search for affiliate programs related to your niche is to Google your keyword(s) with "affiliate program" in quotes after it. For example: if you wanted to find affiliate programs for the Motorola Q phone, you would enter this:
motorola q "affiliate program"
This will pull up search results for companies selling that phone who have affiliate programs.
Then just go to their site for their affiliate program details. The link is usually at the bottom of the page somewhere.
Hope this helps.
