My NPT Forum post to Rosalind Gardner regarding affiliate ma

Where I really want to go with my online affiliate marketing business is to become a successful affiliate selling other people's products, just like you, Rosalind. I have been trying to succeed in online affiliate marketing for several months now, promoting the products/services offered on the affiliate programs I have selected to join. I am not going to mention which affiliate programs or go into detail because I am posting this message on your Forum and want to keep it as brief as possible. I have only been using the free ad services for posting my ads and haven't used PPC as of yet. There are several quality free ad services. I selected this route initially because I wanted to learn how to post ads online. The affiliate programs I belong to provide a free web site. I am not going to say that this method of affiliate marketing doesn't work, I am sure for some beginning affiliate marketers it has worked out well enough, otherwise these free services that I mention wouldn't exist. This is the way I analyze it. I also have two free blogs. I do post a lot on them, but neither of them have yet to get any traffic or replies to my posts. From the very beginning I told myself I can do this, because I want to, and I still feel the same way. I don't feel that I have wasted my time at all these past several months because I am learning. Through the grace of God you have come into my life Rosalind, and I very much feel it was meant to be -- I know it was -- now I know I can accomplish what I set out to do initially, become a successful affiliate with online ad posting selling other people's products, just like you. With your expert knowledge and advice I know I can do it, and do it right. I am proud to be your affiliate through Net Profits Today. Your Super Affiliate Handbook is excellent. I purchased it through Barns & Noble because I wanted a hard copy of my own. Something I will keep forever as very important reading.

Now to discuss setting up my own web site just as you recommend. Yes, I am anxious, I want it to be a successful site. I am going give it my best shot. I have already decided on my web host service out of the four that you recommend. This is very helpful, thank you. My main passion would have to be children's books. My Mexican born mother who grew up in New Mexico taught school for 40 years, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades. My father was British, born and raised in Texas owned his own business with his two other brothers as a car mechanic. I didn't follow in my mother's footsteps of teaching, but I always admired her desire to teach children the best that she could, and how she always made learning interesting. I write some poetry, but I have never published anything as of yet, just keep a journal of my short poems. All of my adult years I have worked in the legal field as a legal secretary, 17 of those years in San Francisco, CA for large law firms. I moved to Seattle, WA in February of '91 and began working for law firms here. The past 5 years I have worked on my own as a freelance legal word processor. This does not make me a computer expert, I am just knowledgeable in what I know how to do. I will have to learn some "html" just as you recommend. I will have to learn how to conduct an ad campagin effectively. Yes, there is so much to learn, but it is to be taken and absorbed one step at a time; and in the end it all fits together perfectly, creating the success we desire, but it is up to us. I look at it this way, if a 14 year old kid, Carl, in Manila can become successful blogging, I know I can do it. Anybody can, we just have to want to. Bottom line, I want to dump my high pressure day job like a hot potato, and become a successful online affiliate marketer selling other people's stuff, just like you, Rosalind.

I am amazed to discover how many well known authors have written and continue to write books for children expressing truth and enlightenment. I just love it. It is so important for children to know and understand the meaning of all life as it exists. We are moving into a new consciousness of knowingness and understanding our Universe and its existence. This type of information is so important for adults and their children.

Talking about reading books on enlightenment, I highly recommend Ruth Montgomery. I have read all of her books. The very first book she wrote back in '77, A World Beyond, is just excellent. I highly recommend this particular book to all adults. Ruth Montgomery was a syndicated columnist in Washington, DC for 25 years before she began to write her books on spirituality, truth and enlightment. In her first book, A World Beyond, she explains why she began to write her books on enlightment, spirituality and the existence of our Universe. Very interesting indeed.

Rosalind, I will close my post sharing one of my short poems with you. Here it is:

PREMONITION

I have a premonition that soars on silver wings. It is a dream of our accomplishments of many wonderous things. I do not know how or where we will challenge fate, I only know it will be high, I only know it will be great.

I believe I can fly, I believe I can touch the sky. So Be It!
