Hi All-
Are you guys having good results with this format. I quickly looked at their site, and I did not see any examples where you could capture a name and email address for list building purposes...an obvious concern.
Also, are you guys using WordPress and registering a domain name so your affiliate website is functioning as a blog (if so are you seeing good results?) or do you have a separate traditional website and then separate blog? Just trying to clarify.
Thanks in advance!
Any other tidbits would be much appreciated as I am trying to get my feet wet. It seems from reading other posts, that most are using XSitePro with cPanel hosting from Hostgator and also using Fantatico.

Hello Jeffa,
I don't know that anyone really needs to buy a web site/blog building system with limited template selection for $197...
I personally recommend setting up a Wordpress blog using a host that has cPanel / Fantastic (such as BlueHost) to start.
Although the default theme that comes with Wordpress is pretty basic (read ugly) there are plenty of good themes available for free download at http://themes.wordpress.net/
I personally use Brian Gardner's Revolution themes here on the NPT blog (heavily modified) and on my travel blog at http://Roamsters.com (left reasonably intact). I talk about how and why I use this theme at here.
Although it wouldn't be a requirement for most bloggers, I also use ArticleLive to manage my article database here at NPT.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Ros |
