Would you please review my site/first squeeze page?

Well, I've been on these forums for well over a year and finally have two sites to show everyone.

This one that I'd like feedback on is just a straight-forward squeeze page for a no cost tele-seminar series I'm doing with some big names. (I'm great at creating ideas and making deals, not so great with web design right now).

It's very basic but does the idea grab you and make you want to sign up? Should I try adding photos of the guest speakers? Would a audio file with me talking about the guests help? More color behind the text?

Please let me have it. I want your gut reaction so I can improve my copywriting and squeeze page building skills.

P.S. The site is live, so it will let you opt-in and verify you. So, don't monkey with the opt-in box unless you really want to hear the calls.

For a squeese page it looks kinda long.
I would have expected an image on the left, a few words, and the optin form.

I don't think the page is too long. I do think a graphic of some sort would help make it a little more visually appealing. I also think that there is not really a call to action.

IMO, the squeeze page should point out a problem that your visitor is experiencing (that's why they went to your site in the first place, right?), provide information on a potential solution, then provide an opt-in for details (like a free ebook detailing a few highlights of what will be discussed) on that potential solution, or you can send 'em straight to your teleseminar.

With the various topics being discussed in the teleseminar, you could make a squeeze page for each topic thereby better targeting your audience. For example: one person may well want to know how to bridge the gap between dreams & reality, but not be as interested in the rest. If you make a page for just that, they may be more willing to opt-in, then be more willing to listen to and act on the other topics as they are presented in the teleseminar.

Just wanted to say thanks for the feedback. I definitely appreciate it.

This squeeze page has been converting at 50%
so while I like that, I also know I can improve it,
likely with finding ways to implement some of the feedback.

I'm going to start split testing some things to see what works at improving it.

I'll share my results after I test with enough traffic to arrive at some results.

I hope you're documenting what you do, both positive & negative, so you can turn it into a "How To" product of your own.

Revisiting the squeeze page and images, I think a thumbnail of the featured speakers beside their "blurb" would lend "percieved" authority to the page. (Just MHO.)

Please continue to share your results, it really helps a lot of people to see this stuff in action! Cool

About your aqueeze page -

I think you need to salt your headline with more benefits and get a better call to action. An easy way to do this would be to take the subhead "Listen in...
and use it as your head, something like...

"Now, you can finally listen in as 14 blah blah....." for the headline, all in red, bold, and keep the quotemarks.

Then use your original head as your call to action. Cause you need one.

This advice based on my experience with a similar page. Doubled optin rate over time but the most important tweak was the headline.
