How do you read the ebooks you buy from the internet?
I must say that I used to always read them from the screen, but for the past few that I have purchased I printed them off, and actually binded them. Staring at the screen gets too tedious, and you can get distracted from other websites in the taskbar at the bottom. I also find that I digest the information much better also. So please share how you do it? |

I also like to print them off, several pages to a physical page as a lot of ebooks tend to be voluminous.
My prefered format, these days, is audio book because it allows me to do something else at the same time. Video is good, but requires another of my senses, which means I can't use it for watching the road or watching what I'm typing! |

If it is worth reading, it is generally worth printing. I print out anything worth a reread. I get way more out of it that way.
I work 100% from home and don't commute, so audios just get listened to on the computer.
Nothing beats video for getting a basic how-to concept across, but I find I don't tend to watch them more than once. For me, that's not the case with audios and the written word. |

| A lot of the time, I just read from the screen. I guess you just get used to reading from the screen after a while. |

I have many ebooks but honestly I've never read them the traditional way. I use a neat little software called TextAloud which reads all the text in a PDF ebook through the speakers or headset.
That way I can read anything while i work. Its like someone reading to you while you work. Cool huh?
Is it no wonder that reading/spelling levels are so low these days? |

| I find reading ebooks on a laptop is easier than reading them on a desktop. Furthermore, if one have collected a considerable number of great ebooks over a period of time, storing them in the laptop makes referring to them a breeze wherever we go, not having to lug all those heavy and bulky bundles of A4 reams. |

I definitely print out the ebooks that I buy!
Then I punch holes in the pages, put the pages
in a binder, grab my yellow hilighter, and go
sit in my easy chair while I read

I can only read them for so long on screen and my eyes start to hurt.
But, I got a smaller printer when I moved back to a home office and it takes ages to print them.
And reading ebooks in the bath can be a complete disaster. |

I print mine out on both sides of the paper and stick 'em in sleeve protectors. Then I make my notes on post-its and plaster 'em where needed, some of my binders look like porcupines! |
