Hi,

My name is Kenth Nasstrom and I'we been online since 1992 (yes, back when one could remember the url to ALL websites online without writing them down!).

I registered my first domain in late 1996.

I kept some info on that site related to my own computer consulting company for some years until I stumbled upon a site explaining how one could earn money on internet.

It looked so easy that I choose to ignore it Smile

Starting in 1997-98 I got more into actually trying to earn some money online and have since then invested more time and money on it every year.

And with some success at least.

I have a bunch of sites where I play around and test things. I sell products, services, I play around and creates some software, I write, I have affiliate sites and Adsense sites and so on.

The difference today and just 2 years ago is that I manage to create income every day now from internet. 2 years a go I was where most people are, trying to get that first sale or reach the level where one get a sale of some sort every wekk (or hopefully every day).

Everything looks so easy once it works.

But it can be done and I'm working every day to reach the next level!

And Rose is one of many persons that can share knowledge that will help not just me, but anyone, reach a higher level of income.

Kenth "The Designer" Nasstrom

Greetings Kenth,

I do apologize for not replying to your earlier post before today, but thank you so much for pointing me in that direction!

I love hearing stories like yours, and there are indeed many of them!

Your comment below is right on the money:

Everything looks so easy once it works.

After wrestling with something for awhile, getting frustrated, pulling my hair out... once I've figured out how to do it, I often look back and think, "Why all the fuss?".

Then again, perhaps the lesson becomes more firmly implanted that way.

Whatever, when you DO get there, you realize that it really isn't all that complicted.

Thank you for sharing, and Happy Holidays! I look forward to hearing a great deal more about your success.

Cheers,
Ros

I'd think that the place where I posted is not the first one you visit if you're short of time. And 22th to 24th of december could possibly have a bad effect on your spare (read forum) time!

I manage to sneak a message in front of you anyway so everything turned out good!

I'we enjoyed several interviews with you and you are the manifestation of my words "everything seems easy once its working".

One never really get the feeling for the real work behind the scenes when successful people tell their tales.

Might be a new bestseller, "Every problem and error I made when not making my six figure income"!

Hi Kenth,

Well, I do my best to share my frustrations and mistakes with the good NPT subscribers and now the NPT Forumites.

I think that's only fair.

Reality is good. There's SO much stupid "start this Internet business - it's SO easy, it'll cost you NOTHING" hype out there, that someone needs to set the record straight.

I break scripts all the time, have built awful-looking sites, wasted a buck or two on PPC when I wasn't paying enough attention to what I was doing.. and lastly, no one will ever accuse me of being the brightest bulb in the pack, but gee... look at what I've managed to accomplish.

The biggest thing is just to get in there, and do something and don't worry about making mistakes. Once you've done that, you're ahead of 90% of the 'hopefuls' out there. Smile

Cheers,
Ros

Some wisdom again Smile

I work full time with computers and have done so for over 20 years.

My life is computing, networks and internet and it has also been my main hobby during the last 15 years.

I create some software as well as sell all main software on the market. I have demo copies, full versions, oem version and special version of every software one could ever need.

I get by in scripting at least and is not completely lost on databases.

I'm certified on networks and speak 3 languages.

I know how tap packets are build when sent over the internet, I manage parts of a 4 campus, 15000 users, university network since many years with things like firewall, dns, NS, routing, switching and a lot of other fun things included.

Here's the wisdom!

Why has it taken me so long time to actually earn some money online?

I have spent the major part of all money I had left over each month on courses, progams and ebooks about online marketing, hypnotic this, trigger that, revealed for the first time, earn EDIT:WORD NOT ALLOWED faster then ever courses.

I'we read them all and found nothing in them that actually looks like a reason why it should work.

And here's the worst part.

I see people with almost no computer skill, with bad langague skills, with old broken computers, with low speed internet connections, with little or no money, succeed time and time again Sad

So why couldn't I even make 2 sales peer month for several years.

I finally got it (thanks to John Reese). Not that he said something others hadn't said, but it finally sunk in.

You have to take action (Tony Robbins anyone).

Well had I not done that before?

Nop, I knew how to do it all, register domains, set up the website, get the thankyou page working, do redirects, set up mail forwarding and so on.

So it looked so simple (and boring) that I never really did it. I did some things here and some things there and the result was nothing that actually worked.

So nevermind how silly, simple and easy "the road to success" may seem, make sure to follow it all the way!
