Hy everybody !
I'm new here and would like to thank you all in advance for any advise on the subject below.
One of the criteria to get in the Commission Junction network is making me get confused, not to say frustrated...
* Volume of traffic
I have a plan in my head and to put into practice i really need that people. So , since I'm just starting how can i overcome this issue??? You may say..take care of your traffic and then hook up with them later ! Well, i won't be able to do this i guess ....
For this specific product there's not too much talking ( reviews, forums and etc) besides the product description itself. In other/shorter words,i can't sell the products without taking my bite of it's profit.
What to do ???
Thanks again! |

Just fill in the form how you think best, and exaggerate a bit on the traffic volume. It's not fibbing as you'll soon have loads of traffic to your site anyway.
I'm a bit lost when you say you don't know what to put from the description - surely your site has some sort of topic right? |

Thanks for your reply catherinel !
Well, to make it short ,what i want to say is that i don't have a website for that purpose yet.Let me try to give you an example.
I want to promote your produt,( A Tooth Paste for instance))most specifically,i want to redirect people to YOUR website and then get my comission's based on your Tooth Paste sales. So how can i do that if i don't even have a chance to became an affiliate?
In this case scenario my intention is just to point people to a ""Great Tooth Paste"" deal. Just some sort of a single line advertising.
"" Looking for this ?? Go get it there !!!
These are not the words i'll be using though, it describes pretty much what i'm trying to say..
Hope it's clear !!
Thanks again !! |

If I understand your question, this won't be a problem.
First, sign up to CJ to get your account (you can use
any website you own and change it later if you want
to).
Then, sign up to the program you want to be an
affiliate for. Lots of the merchants have
auto-approval and won't even look at your site.
Finally, you can get the link you need and run the ad
you are speaking of. (I would cloak the link but that
is a different topic).
Good luck

Thanks Brian,
I was just about to do what you said anyway.
And...taking a ride on your comment, let me ask you, what do you recommend for link cloaking ?
Thanks again ! |
