Ros, In your guidelines for using your articles you state we can reprint them as long as we don't change links within the article itself, however, we may change the links to SAH and NetProfitsToday to our affiliate links. How do I go about changing the NPT link and still have it coded with my affiliate link? If they go to NPT from your article that I reprint on my site, or newsletter and then they happen to buy SAH from within NetProfitsToday how do I receive my commission? I could not find an affiliate coding for NPT as I believe it to be a free site. Can I just remove the NPT link?

Hey cedward453,
(What's the "c" stand for?)

I think Ros has been busy lately.
She does that "action" thing I've heard about pretty regularly. Wink
So I thought I'd take a stab at an answer for ya.

It says on the article page here:
http://netprofitstoday.com/_articles/index.html#Reprint-Guidelines
That "Affiliates may replace both links in the resource box
with their own affiliate links for the Super Affiliate Handbook
and the Net Profits Today site."
And then it gives detail on how to do so.

I'm not quite sure about people buying SAH through
the NetProfitsToday site it's self, but
maybe an &url link would work.
I know they don't work with clickbank,
but maybe they do with her new software.
That way at least they would get cookied.

Hope it helps a bit.
Brad.

The "c" stands for Charles ...Edward.

An url link to where?

Anything added to NPT gets 404'd, and if it doesn't work with clickbank what does her new SW require?

help, sorry, but I don't get it, yet.

Hey Charles,
(that's what I thought Wink)

Sorry about that.
That's what I get for trying
to quickly post as I run out the door Laughing

An &url is a type of meta refresh
that only works with some affiliate software.
I tried it with Rosalind's, and unfortunately it doesn't.

But it goes like this for future reference.

Your typical code is:
<html>
<head>
<title>Free Report</title>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="0;URL=http://www.YOUR AFFILIATE URL.com">
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

The &url code is this:
<html>
<head>
<title>Free Report</title>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="0;URL=http://www.YOUR AFFILIATE URL.com&u=http://www.THE PAGE YOU WANT THEM TO SEE.html">
</head>
<body>

</body>
</html>

It effectively cookies the browser,
and then forwards them to a seperate url.
Good for promoting things that have deeper pages with good content.
Like this one:

I promote xsite pro. An EXCELLENT product.
But even the best products are best promoted from multiple angles.
So I use this code:
<html>
<head>
<title>Free Report</title>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="refresh" content="0;URL=http://www.xsitepro.com/cmd.php?af=261826&u=http://www.xsitepro.com/Secrets_for_Finding_the_hottest_products.html">

<style fprolloverstyle>A:hover {color: #CC0000}

</style><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1"></head>
<body>

</body>
</html>
(the style is irrelevant)

This as an index.html in a folder called "finding_hot_products" is a great way to promote.
You are offering a true value, in the form
of a free report, and converting from it!

Hope that clears it up.
Sorry I couldn't help with Ros's stuff though Confused
Oh well... I'll do a bit of research.
I use php redirects now-a-days, and
need to see if there is a way to do it with them.
I'll let you know.

Cheers!
Brad.

Thanks Brad!

I think I understand Confused I'll try it. I was planning to send Ros' articles as pdf files, but if I'm going to use the html coding I guess I'll direct them to it on one of my site pages, (where I can place more links and Adsense Very Happy ) ...it'll just take a little longer, and may be a little more profitable!

Thanks again!

Hey Brad,

I'm glad I re-read that last posting on &url! As you said,
Quote:

I guess I won't be directing them to Rosalind's articles on one of my site pages. Crying or Very sad

Help... some more, please?

Thanks!
C
