I'm familiar with Site Build It (sitesell dot com) and I know it's even recommended on this site.

So, how does this site differ from SBI's 10 day program? SBI would seem to cover all the topics found here ...

If one is involved with SBI, what additional value will you find here? What extra topics are included or covered in greater depth here vs. SBI?

Thank you.

Brooks

Are you using SBI!?

It's an excellent product for those starting out and provides loads and loads of valuable info. The 10 day program you mentioned is the step-by-step process of setting up an SBI! site. Every Sitesell product is top notch and more than worth its price.

NPT isn't actually a program or subscription service - we're here to answer your questions as they come up and provide some help.

It's based on Ros' book which has an super-excellent reputation. We try to be a little less overwhelming, too.

Many happy SBI! users have come here with questions and concerns. We won't turn you away!!

Hi Dan,

Yes, I'm on Day 7 of the SBI program.

My site is www dot rv-wisdom dot com (can't post a link here until after 15 posts - sigh).

It's a work in progress. Getting closer to 30 pages of content. Finished pages 21 and 22 today.

I read about Ros in a book by Ernie Zelinski.

Helped you out with the link bro Wink

I checked out your site,
VERY NICELY DONE!!
You should be proud!

Like Dan said,
this site really doesn't compare to SBI.
It's a whole different kind of community.
(the old apples and oranges comparison. LOL!)

NetProfitsToday is based on affiliate marketing,
SBI teaches more than one business model. (I think)
And though the SuperAffiliateHandbook is the main reference,
(and HIGHLY recommended)
the forum is just a kind of "gathering of minds".
Instead of having a set curiculum,
we just help each other out. Cool

It's just like other marketing forums in that way.
(if you haven't found others yet, there are MANY)

The difference here is the group mindset.
If this is one of the first marketing forums you found,
lucky you Wink
THIS community ROCKS!
And trust me on this, because I have visited HUNDREDS!

Use communities for support, or for multiple opinions.
You could discover partners, or explosive ideas.
It's really a supplemental thing to your plan.
(Stick to your plan! Don't get distracted!)
BUT, the value can be amazing!

We are here to help, and provide insight,
or just soak up your frustration with you.
That's the real value of a good community.

Hope that helps some,
and keep us posted on your progress, K?

Good luck bro!!
Your doing great!
Brad.

Hi, I always recommend SBI to those setting up a website who are also new to business. As Brad said, SBI is a package, which will help you to build any type of site, whether it be affiliate marketing, a site to bring your online business offline, or a site to help you sell your own product.

It's a fantastic product, however, no site or product is a complete learning solution. Here you will find lots of great advice on affiliate marketing, on the forum, in the blog posts and on the site in general, and also from Rosalind's affiliate handbook.

Congratulations on taking the first step to starting your business. Whatever you do, keep learning and reading as much as you can. I have been in business for many years, but I still gain valuable support and info from forums and I read several business books, and take courses. For books about online business topics, I usually read ebooks, as print books on the Internet are generally out of date before they even go into print. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Catherine. I will come back and do some reading when I reach the affiliate stage.

Brooks

P.S. You have an interesting website.
