I see many websites including that of Ros, that have what looks like a hand written signature at the bottom. What is the best method of doing this or is there a special font on can use?
I want to find different fonts online to use, what is the better sites anyone has found? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Duane |

Hello Duane,
Good questions! and those 'real-looking' signatures do look nice and much more personal don't they?
All I did was write my name on a piece of paper, scan it, open it in Paint Shop Pro and make sure the white around the name was actually the white used in web design (#ffffff). Then I saved the file as a .gif and Voila! ... my signature.
You can find fonts at Fonts.com, but if it's a really popular font, you'll likely find a free download site for it just by searching Google.
For example, after a computer crash I was looking to replace 'Festus' which is the font I use at Sage-Hearts.com.
I found it at TypeNow.net from where I downloaded it for free.
Hope that helps!
Cheers,
Ros |

Merry Christmas Eve Morning Ros,
That is perfect with the information on the signature and the site for the Fonts. Just what I was looking for, I always have liked the Sage-Hearts font that you chose. I may have to use that font one day for the appropriate website. But for now, I am just trying to get my first idea off the ground and into action. Then hopefully with that new experience, many more will follow.
Thanks again and have a Merry Christmas to everyone in the NPT forum!
