Hi Everyone,
My name is Katherine and I am currently a freelance writer and editor. As a writer, I focus on writing website copy, SEO articles, blog posts, e-books, and e-zine and online newsletter copy for my clients. I've even completed an email course or two. I also have some of my own projects going on. For example, I am the Greek Food Editor at Bella Online.
But, I have become frustrated with the process of do the work... get paid... and then that's it! Over the Christmas break I realized that I needed some residual, passive income.
So I've switched gears. I am still working with my clients. I am currently in the middle of a keyword/content project. After a few months of searching, I've realized that Internet and Affiliate marketing is the way to go. Some of my clients are Internet and Affiliate marketers and are using me to ghost write for them. So, why not channel that energy to my own projects?
I purchased the Super Affiliate Handbook. I read it through once and am working through it slowly the second time around. I have now just completed my fourth page on my new website. (Took me about a week to get to that point!) I am not ready to launch yet. It is amazing how much of a learning curve I have.
But, I built my writing business up from nothing. I understand that it takes patience and desire and there WILL be a learning curve. So when I get frustrated, I turn off my computer and go for a walk and let things be. And that is what I am about to do. I know that when I return tomorrow, I will be ready to move on to the next step.
