A little while ago, after reading a few forums posts about a particular topic, I decided to go on the hunt and figure out what the answer was , and I did. Strangely enough it wasn't really all that hard to figure out and like most things online the "gurus" dont tell you how to figure it out. They'll tell what you should do. But dont explain the nuts and bolts behind it, or really give you real world examples of how and where it is being applied.
Oddlly enough and its funny too because I have all of the e-books about this from the Guru's on this particular topic.
I'm not being all hype-ish (I hate the overblown hype) But I just found out how to do something very easily and quickly and its easy to implement. It covers 2 well known sites and I'm thinking about adding a 3rd site as more content. It took me about an hour and half to figure this out, and after sort of developing a method to the madness it took me about 15 minutes to put the changes in place (i'm slow-thats just me though)
I have it in a word document document right now, its currently about 17 pages long its pretty detailed most pictorial I prefer pictures as opposed to wordy fluff filled filler to make books like meaty.
I come from a blue collar background - so I like step by step how to do things and am quite used to having to figure things out on fly. A strength I guess in this online business arena ?
I've stripped down 2 sites to show how theyre doing something and why they get the great the results they get. And have implemented it on a well trafficked page on my site as a test bed. To my surprise it actually works. (can you tell I'm in-experienced at this )
SHEESH this already sounds like a sales letter doesnt it (sorry for that) Im just trying to hash out an idea cause I really dont quite know which direction to go with this.
Im being sort of protective about this niche at the moment because like I said I havent seen what I have figured out being done yet or explained in this way yet.
Ok Now here is where I am a bit frozen.
Should I just add what I figured out
1.) As page content to my website,
2.) Post it in a blog, as foundation content,
3.) Create an e-book and sell it.
4.) Create an e-book and give it away.
5.) Create a website around this topic
6.) Find a collaborator for this thingy ive got going to get it tweaked and or reviewed.
7.) fill in the lank I need advice: _________________
I prefer to be helpful and provide knowledge where I can. But dont quite know how to go about or which direction to take to get this out. I guess my main fear is if I were to bang up a sales page and put some copy to it, then it might look like "yeah yeah yeah what ever" click the red X or back button. LOL Am I chewing on self doubt right now? Hahaha.
Ok I'll shut for the time being ive been waaaaaaay to wordy already
Any idea would be quite helpful
Cheers and Beers From Canada

Sup Shane?
Boy, you don't leave much to go on.
It's really hard to answer you pn this
not knowing ANYthing about the subject.
Here's my 2 cent...
If it's new, and tests well,
I would probably try to capitalize on it.
So then, an ebook? Or video?
(depends on what it is)
But to avoid a hyped up pitch, that just
leads to a "back button" choice,
you could offer a free report on a lander.
Then in the responder series,
you would give more detail.
But being able to do it slowly in emails,
you can avoid sounding hypey (is that a word?),
and tell it like you are offering free info.
But of course, each email leaves them more curious.
And has a link for the for the actual sales page.
Just a thought...
Email someone you trust with the details,
and get their opinion.
Or, if you don't have a circle of trusted marketers,
(hard to come by) then offer a jv?
It might give you an opinion at least.
Choose wisely though!
And let us know!
You got ME curious!
Later bro!
Brad. |

Hi Shane - you are being very vague. By the way - it's me Catherine from over at Allen's forum - you used to visit my blog. I've moved it now, but if you search cath lawson business success you'll find it.
It is very difficult for me to give you sound advice based on what you have. But, from what you've said -it sounds like you could give it away as a free ebook to drive traffic to your site, or you could expand on it further and write an ebook to sell.
As I said, it's hard to say without seeing it. You could email me if you like - I think my email is in my profile.
Want to know something really funny - I now own a bricks and mortar plumbing business too. I may also need your advice. |
