I am Duane from St.Albert just outside of Edmonton (home of the Edmonton Oilers of the NHL). Yes you guessed it, a big hockey fan being a Canadian boy.
I have been kicking a lot of stones around as of late and wasting time. I have read the Super Affiliate Handbook (what a great read, thank you Ross for this amazing guide) many times over. Then I went over to see what SBI was all about and am very happy and impressed with their style and format.
But after all this studying and reading, I still have to put up any form of a site. My problem is just jumping in and doing it.
I have lots of questions that I will post, in hopes of getting my feet wet in the Affiliate Marketing and Info type sites.
So I look forward to talking to you all and learning everything I can and giving that back to all you great people in the forum.
Thanks and talk to you soon!

Hi Duane & Welcome
'Getting Started' is the hardest part... once you do that, everything gains momentum Honestly, jump right in - asking any questions you have along the way, of course - and learn as you go. You'll be glad you did! |

Thankyou So Much for your kind and uplifting words Lynn Terry,
I hope one of the toughest things is the start, otherwise I am in real trouble.
I just suffer from sucess syndrom, I always want to make sure I do things right the first time and make sure I put in the necessary reseach in order to do so.
But like you said, just jump in and do it...... Figure the rest out as I go.
Thanks again and I really look forward to this forum growing as there seems to be a lot of really nice regular people within. Ones that are not afraid to help out no matter how dumb the question. I believe I will have some doozies coming! haha...

You're welcome, Duane...
If it helps any at all, I have been online and self-employed for the last 9 years... and I am still learning as I go LOL
Experience (hands-on, personal experience, that is) is the best way to learn, in my opinion. Book smarts are great, dont get me wrong, but it's the actual experience you will learn the most from in the long run.
You have taken a great step by joining a helpful community such as this one. With this asset, you should be able to get things rolling without much of a problem |
