What do I do?

Hi Everyone,
I enjoy helping people when and where I can. I have been thinking for a while about building a web site but I'm not sure what to do first.
Do I make a list of my interests first then narrow it down to what I know the most about? When I run out of what I know what do I do to keep it going?

What do I need to do to find out how to start it?

I have found a place that would greatly (help anyone) that is online and markets anything.

I like it because I feel like I'm helping people in general and, it is a business that I'd really like to do.
So here are a few questions I'd like to ask everyone...

1) When was the last time google, yahoo, msn GYM, paid you for using their site?

2) Do they pay you in ppc dollars to help you with your buisness; or did you pay them?

3) How would you like to put some if not most of your advertising money back into your own pocket?


Now how would I go about putting together a site based on what I've said above or planning it?

What do I need to do first to plan a site around this?

Can you see the broadness of this? There are many directions for me to go in it's just starting I'm not sure how to do.
