Hi Everyone,
I promote a number of clickbank products on my site.
When I look at my stats on clickbank, I can see sales, but I don't know exactly which product sold. They give me the date of sale, and the publishers nickname, and an item #, but none of these clues tell me exactly what product the customer purchased. I asked clickbank about it and they replied with "we do not provide that information". How can you tell which products are selling and which aren't? Does anyone else have this problem, or am I just thick and missing something obvious?
Thanks for your help.
Cliff

Hi Cliff,
I can usually recognize the merchant by their ID there in my stats, so I know which product it was that sold.
But if you arent sure which ID goes with which product, just open a new window and use the hoplink format to visit the merchants site. Then you can see which product it was!
Here is the basic hoplink:
http://hop.clickbank.net/?affiliate_id/merchant_id
Copy the link above. Paste it into your address bar in a new window. Replace the "affiliate_id" with your own ClickBank ID. Replace the "merchant_id" with the one you see in your stats (for the product that sold). Now hit enter (or click "go") and see which product page it takes you to.
Hope that helps |

Yes, your suggesstion solved my problem completely. I didn't know I could do that with the hoplink thing. (Obviously!)
Also, yes, I have checked out paydotcom. Will get to them soon. I just have my plate a little full right now.
Thanks again for the help.
