Hi All,
Thanks for pointing that out Shaners. I just sent eBay Vero a notice of copyright infringement. With luck they'll pull the listing today.
It is unfortunate, but I am constantly on the lookout for these copyright thieves who try to profit from the hard work of others. More unfortunate is the fact that although eBay does pull the listings, they don't cancel the thieves accounts. As long as they're making money...
Cheers,
Ros |

Hi Ros,
You need to keep a search for your book Title and your name running at all times on eBay to catch them.
Yes, you are right they are to slow to react at eBay against outright obvious thiefs! I'm glad to see that you concur with my opinion on that.
I'm surprised that you didn't use username and passwords to enter you latest edition of SAH, but I'm glad it is in PDF. I can search a PDF and not those ebook compiler books. Also, my firewall goes crazy with with the outbound links and I don't always trust the author. However, I trust you.
You should have included trackback links in your latest book. Even with your latest post I'm not totally clear on just how. I can be dense sometimes but I never give up.
Incidentally, your affiliatelink cloaker affiliate URL is not working. I would buy it from you in a heart beat but I already use a JavaScript affiliate link cloaker, not hexadecimal like Jim Edwards. But that was excellent advice. I've tried frame forwarding or name sticky, php redirect, html redirects and .htaccess redirects. Thanks for the mouseover reminder in your lastest edition.
Perhaps, this is the wrong place to ask you this but I would like to sell your book in Spanish. My current affiliate link is: URL not permitted by forum rules geesh.
Surely, I will need a new affiliate link for the Spanish version. I studied Medicine in Spanish and I have friends who have finally become interested. One is a Doctor in Venezuela the other is finishing her Masters in Education at Playa Del Carmen, just below Cancun, and she really needs it. She is the head of the technology department and doesn't have a clue!
I tried to send money to a desperate friend in Mexico through PayPal, but he couldn't understand enough English to retrieve the money.
How should our latin or hispanic friends pay for your book?
I don't know how you could be known as MS Vacation but I want to steal your title.LOL. I was invited to go Marlin fishing off the coast of Venezuela last February but I work at this stuff 16 hour a day!
Cheers,
Frank Eckdall
