Hi all,

I'm a decent web designer and know my way around HTML and CSS. I've got in mind that I want a 3 column web site and wondered if any of you have experience as to whether a right or left hand navigation works better for conversions?

Thanks!

It truly depends on the "action" you want the visitor to take.

Studies show, the mind reads from left to right,
and from top to bottom.

I have seen graphs that show where the visitors focus,
(based on an averages of course).
And they spend over 80% of the time
viewing the upper left of a content page.
(not including article pages)

It's the same thing applied backwards,
but it's the reason most pages include the resources,
such as disclaimers, at the bottom of the page.
Also, on a resume, you put the less impressive info
to the end of the line or 'right' of the page.

Do you want subscribers?
Because you want to structure your pages as to
cause an action, of your choice.
Then they take the action, or leave.
(the basic principal behind squeeze pages Wink )

Hope that helps some!
Brad.
