Greetings from the beautiful foothills of the Smoky Mountains! Russell Portwood here and glad to be a part of this forum. Affiliate marketing has been pretty good to me so this is a good way to return the favor so to speak. Thanks, Ros, for giving us a way to participate in your success and help each other out.
I have been selling stuff (and other peoples stuff) on the internet since our ISP used string and tin cans here in the mountains. Slooowwww. But now we are all fancy with cable modems and such. I registered my first domain in early 1997. It's hard to believe it's been that long. And if I had the Super Affiliate Handbook back then, I would surely be gone from the day job by now. Problem is, I haven't been consistent. Now, with a new push, and SAH in hand, I'm actually makin' consistent income! Thanks ROS!
My first big hit was the Affiliate Check System. My own product - worked really well - made me and others some good money - until popup blockers became the rage that is. Fact is, it still works although I'm not promoting it. If anybody here on the NPT board wants to try it, it's yours, gratis. My present to Ros and her community (as long as it's OK with her). No strings attached. (We have cable now, remember?) It's hard to believe something on the internet is actually "old school". Anyway...
Now I'm just doing affiliate stuff and reworking my whole site. I have some niche sites I'm fine tuning and will concentrate on staying focused. It's the Hillbilly ADD thing I guess. And I don't even drink moonshine!
Well, that's me. I'll be sharing more here and I look forward to being a part of the board. Ros, if you're ever in these parts, let us know. We'll treat you to some good ol' southern hospitality!
