Hi Ros,

Regarding that rip-off blog entry, the comment thing is disabled and this is the only contact place I could find to voice my comments.

First, I would like to mention that datingfox.com still has your webVista copyright notice on all its pages. Look's like they forgot that too. I just checked it again now.

Second, I would like to ask you what is your recourse in these matters? I understand that you have a copyright automatically and probably a trademark filed somewhere. This is great but you're not planning on a major lawsuit each time, I would imagine. This worries me for my (future) sites.

Thanks,
Alexandra

Hi again,

I have posting the above question in another forum and was given the following link as an answer to my question: Lorelle knows what to do.

http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2006/04/10/what-do-you-do-when-someone-steals-your-content/

Hope this helps any who have been faced with those issues.

Interesting. datingfox.com no longer exists.

This inspired me. I just wrote to the web host providers of two of the sites that posted content stolen from me. I've written the webmasters before and never received a response, so now I am asking the web hosts to do something.

Both of the domain names in question are registered at godaddy. It'd be nice if they would do something. Maybe I'll contact them as well.
