Submitting your blog to directories

Is it really worth the time to submit your blogs to directories?

I had my VA submit a few of my blogs to a long list of directories and yes, I do see some traffic from a handful of those directories.

I see more traffic from getting my blog tracked in websites like technorati though.

We submitted our blog to a large number of directories and within two weeks saw extraordinary results.

Technorati and delicious are definitely to be included but still recommend submitting to as many places as possible.

The RSS top 55 list actually lists the top 181. I started at the back of the list. Great resource!
