Dearest Affiliates...Some Advice...

I love my affiliates...after all, these are the people that help me get paid. My only complaint is: Out of the hundreds of affiliates I have signing up to work with me, many of them think that building a random page, filling it with hundreds of affiliate links, and calling it a mall will make them rich. Yes there are tricks and secrets that can get traffic to your site, but honestly, how many of you have ever bought anything from one of those crappy(yes...I said it...they are crappy) dime a dozen link junkyards? Once someone sees your page, what will keep them from moving on without a second thought? CONTENT! CONTENT! CONTENT! PLEASE give your site some content. Give your visitors a reason to stay a bit, look around, and maybe consider buying something. They may even come back!

Recommendations? Add an article or two...start a blog...review your products or services, in the case of my affiliates, tell about the service we offer, and how we can help them find a friend or lost loved one(if you can mention any of your own experiences or success stories - DO IT!). DON'T JUST SLAP UP A LINK AND EXPECT MIRACLES TO HAPPEN!!!

Thank you. Content is so important. Most people are irritated when they hit those random spammy sites. I sometimes close the browser and open another rather than clicking on anything.

It is so much more interesting to build good content sites.
