1) Check your website statistics / logs. Any access to your feed will be logged.
2 & 3) Depends on your blogging software, but the likely answer is "yes" to both. |

1) Website stats will only show hits on the feed. It won't show how many people are subscribed to the feed. You may be able to a third party to try and track how many subscribers, but then it might only track subscribers through their own service.
2) Wordpress is excellent, free and would be my recommendation to anyone wanting a blog. |
