HEy ros,
I'm curious about 2 things.
1.) why havent you included an affiliate link cloaker for this site, it shows my hop link, when opened. I know you mentioned it as a bad thing for affiliates to do.
2.) I have the poip under installed on my blog, now when someone exits the popunder page a pop up to sign up for yours and jims newsletter pops up, when someone signs up and you make future sales do I get a piece of the pie for my efforts, mmmmmm pie !!!

thanks in advance
shane

knock knock anyone home Razz
Funnily enough i was reading through your book ros. and heres quote unquote what you say "Responsible merchants have systems in place to prevent this type of commission theft.
However, most merchants do not, so it's up to you as an affiliate to protect your commissions." (from 3 ways to prevent commission theft)
Ive emailed jim as well. Oh I'd say well over 2 weeks ago, do you guys ever read your email !!!! sheesh man whats an affiliate to do !!!

Have a good one

Judging by the number of spam threads still showing in the forum, I'd say the lights are on, but no one's home right now!

As for the redirect thing, I also pointed it out a while ago...

its been two since i originally sent my query I got an email back from her virtual asst Joel I think his name was. I must say he was holy unhelpful and unfamiliar with her product. re: email hiding hop links hiding aff hop link

Hello Shane,
On behalf of Rosalind, thank s for your questions...
both good ones, and I'll have to defer to Rosalind
for the answers.

My guess on the 1st is that she hasn't implemented
the encryption system on ABB sheerly because of
allocation of time and priorities. I suspect it
is on her long 'to do' list with many other operational
tweaks.

And question two... I believe you'd get the credit on
a pop under as you've described.

Again, since I'm not 100% certain on either of your
two questions I'll pass your message on to Rosalind
and I'm sure she'll get back in touch... probably
within a few days.

whats the point of having an "exec asst" if he's going to return such a glib reply.
At this point... I wouldnt recommend the super affiliate hand book or the affiliate blue print if this is the kind of support you'll get. From Ros or Jim edwards

You managed to send an email to Jim Edwards how on earth did that work. I sent him one when I bought his book about what I had done with it and it was I am far to busy to be reading email. Then I got an email from him recently which was a load of rubbish, trying to sell something but with links not working so I emailed back to say because of the amount of spam we get we are not reading any mail. Great send an email out which is crap and don't read the replies.

Hi all,

Shane, perhaps the forum is not the best place to be posting questions for which you want answers right away... from me, at least. Smile

The forum is more intended for users to share information.

Our support desk is the place to go for direct answers.

To answer your questions... Joel was correct when he said that installing a redirect for ABB is on my long to-do list. My very long to-do list.

Secondly... yes, you get credit for point traffic to NPT with your affiliate link. You'll even get a commission if the SAH is purchased by your visitor during his or her visitor - so long as the cookie isn't overwritten in the meantime.

Cheers,
Ros
