|
|
I am currently looking for a script that can append a parameter (keyword, medium, source) dynamically using cookies to the end of my CJ, Linkshare, and Performics affiliate links (sid=,mid=,u1=)
It would be really nice, if it were possible to append a whole referring url to the end of the affiliate links. I am about to hunt down a few programmers on some of the freelance boards, but thought I would drop by and see if anyone knew how to do this and if there was a free script out there that would accomplish this feat. |

How are you currently presenting your affilaite links? Are they generated or do you construct them manually?
Can I ask why you want additional parameters? Will they serve a functional purpose? |

My affiliate links for cj, linkshare, and performics and being presented as is. Just your standard CJ, linkshare affiliate links. Some of these do have a simple cloak that looks like this:
| Code: | | <a href="www.myaffiliatelink.com" onmouseover="window.status='Click Here';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;">My Affilaite Link </a> |
The reason why anyone would want additional parameters recorded to the end of affiliate links would be for tracking. Do you know about shoppper IDs for CJ, Linkshare, and Performics? They allow you to track keywords, campaigns, or whatever you want to track to the point of sale for most companies running on those networks. This is very essential for most marketers who track consistantly. |
