| I'm sorry if this topic has been covered before, but what's the best process/software for submitting articles to publishers? |

I'm not sure what would be best for you, Mike, but there are plenty for you to try.
If you're going to use a piece of software to automate the submission process for you, I'd advise you to it whilst in the guarantee period as many directories have introduced mechanisms to prevent such submissions.
I've recently seen an email about an update to Article Post Robot so that should be pretty up-to-date with submission software friendly directories.
One of the negative points about a lot of software that submits to web directories is that you often need an account with any directory that you're submitting to. That can mean that you've got to sign up with hundreds of directories in order to get the most out of the software.
As well as submitting to the larger, more popular article directories (e.g. ezinearticles.com, articlecity.com, goarticles.com), you could try a service such as isnare.com.
One thing to consider is the impact of having the same article potentially appearing across multiple sites. Whether or not you believe in duplicate content penalty or not, it's worth reading this in order to see how you can get around any such penalty that could lessen the benefit you get from your articles. |

thanks for the tips. Right now I'm doing it all manually, but since this is the first time I'm submitting an article I'm keeping track of all the ezine sites, log in names, links, etc. in Excel. So, hopefully it'll be a lot quicker for future articles, but article announcer seems promising, but has quite the pricetag.
