|
|
I have have always wanted to know if some of the free advertising methods that used to be prevelant a few years back are still able to pull in income with today's busy internet population. I have had mixed reviews on the results of the methods mentioned below.
1. FFA (Free for All)
2. Online Classifieds
3. Traffic or Hits Exchanges
4. Safelists
If anyone has had any positive results from these 4 free advertising methods, I would like to hear about it. If these forms of advertising are working for you, what type of business do you end up promoting? Business Opportunities, Get Rich Quick Ebooks, Traffic Exchanges, Internet marketing books?
I would like to get a general census on what seems to be working with these methods, if any at all.

I have had excellent success with ffa leads. They are good leads if you sell stuff that marketers want. That is who they are. Now they must confirm their email addresses so they really look in those inboxes for the confirmation. Uploaded 20,000 to my autoresponder and over 200 confirmed. Somebody saw my emails.
Well, I am biased. I own leadclub.net . But the stats are real.
I also own a safelist with 5000 members.
People see the emails. I know because I get the complaints.
The key is that you must get eyeballs. The rest is your responsibility
to sell them.
Not too much with classifieds but Adlandpro seems to be one busy site.
1000 alexa rating. Damn.
I have also made some sales with traffic swarm traffic exchange.
But my products relate to marketers. If you are selling real estate
in Montana none of these methods would be very good.
Good luck,
Matt |

Hello Matt,
Thanks for your feedback. Since my initial post here I have got started advertising on TEs and PTC/PTR programs. I have found that this way of advertising is definately viable if you plan on selling anything business or marketing related. I plan to use safelists in the near future after I build up my downline a little more.
I have yet to really see an advantage to advertising on FFA since I really don't see anyone viewing my link and advert from 1000s of others when its not blantantly popping up in their face.
The real key for me has been to have an attactive, eye catching splash page and opt-in forms in which I can catch information and send out an autoresponder series. I generally also include bonuses and Ebooks in exchange for their info.

Yes, posting to ffa pages is a bit marginal however I have tracked some clicks from it. It is mainly the owners of ffa pages who see the ads. I have done real well sending to ffa leads though. Often better than sending to expensive surveyed leads. Good luck,

So far as my exp the Google Adwords and Email Marketing are the best effective ones.
However if we have small ad budget then FREE posting is the good choice untill we get sufficient amount and knowledge to do the paid advertising. |

I'll add another method that works -
Writing articles with resource boxes back to your web site and submitting them to article directories.

I feel that a content rich site that is mixed with the above methods would round of the entire package.
I am new to the marketing aspect of affiliate marketing and am always open to additional input.
It just seems to me that when I search for a particular topic that I would much rather buy from a content rich site as opposed to just a sales site. I have even found it extremely comfortable to be transferred from a site that is content rich to a sells page rather than landing on a sells page directly.
As I stated above I am relatively new to the marketing aspect and if you have ideas that help I am all ears and eyes.
The collective thoughts of us all assist us all in higher levels of success, Thanks RW
The following location is by far on of the best that I have found to assist with having content and traffic. You will need to contact me for this location. I am new to this forum and am not allowed to post url's for a bit longer, this will change with my commitment to your forum, Thanks! |
