Looks nice - how about a page of "gardening books" with short reviews/descriptions, instead of the Amazon link bar at the bottom of the page? It would be one less thing to distract people from clicking through to the products you're selling. I would also lose the Adsense from the home page and blend it in a little better wherever you do use it (experiment with the custom pallettes).
I'm not sure I like that clicking the home-page featured items takes you immediately to the merchant's site ... as a shopper that would cause your site to lose some credibility with me ... but that's just one person's opinion ...
Oh and instead of a "bigtitle" class, how about styling your H1 tag the same way and using that instead? Header tags carry more search engine weight . |

Hi Pete it took a little time to go through the site and I guess that is why you haven't had too many reviews.
One job to do asap is to make sure all your links open in a new window (apart from adsense which you are not allowed to do). Imagine going to B&Q and wanting to buy a bbq and they send you straight away to Tesco's, highly unlikely you return to B&Q unless you want something else.
On the home page I would drop the .co.uk from the paragrah where you talk about the site. Put it as dig that garden maybe embolden it or something, and also drop the hope be positive that they will find and it will be the best site. Your a Brit and if the Yanks can milk it for all it's worth then us Brits have to as well.
On the graphic at the top of the page you need an Alt+tag.
I think it is looking good but my personal preference here is that the site is centred. I just prefer not looking to the left. I don't think there are any rules about it has to be like that but I like it because my eyes go to the centre.
It is good, now get it listed and keep adding to it.
One thing we Brits are good at is gardening (sounds far better than working in the yard) and I am sure you will have lots of stories about gardening.
