I realize you need permission from author's and people before putting their ideas or material on your website. But my question is this: I have a child website and am looking for crafts etc..songs, ideas...

If you go to www.childfun.com and look at all the material and free printables, where do they get all that? How can I find stuff like that? I know there are preschool books for arts and crafts but is this where they probably get their materials? They have stuff from TV like blues clues and just all kinds of theme's. Can I e-mail this website and get permission, or do I need to go the source they went to?

With some of the crafts etc, they don't have a book or author listed to give them credit for using their stuff. I'm so confused about how to get content. I would appreciate if anyone can help me or lead me to a source to ask.
Thanks so much Smile

Hi Jodi there are some great article if you go to places like www.goarticles.com or www.articlecity.com where you can use them freely as long as you keep the author's details there. But it could be they are writing the content themselves. A great way to go, use some that others have written and use some you have written.

Because they dont cite who it is written by doesn't mean anything. I am not saying this is true in their case, but I know some site who use articles as their main feature and it looks like they are their own stuff but it has come off other sites, and basically they have said they are stealing it but they don't care. Not everybody is honest, go the road you want, but maybe if you email them they will point you in the right direction.
