I wondered if there is a tool or website that has different varieties of Forums to use and copy or purchase? Where does one find info on how to find and add on a forum. There's so many kinds.

Hello Jodi,

If you like this forum, it's called phpBB and is terrifically easy to install on a web host with Cpanel using Fantastico, like HostGator.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Ros

I do like this forum and the space surrounding it where a person can add things. Hostgator provides two forum styles. But they can't let me see them. Can a person choose a color after receiving the forum? I'm going with a purple and grey look on my website and would like to have it fit the color scheme. Is this possible or do you just get what they choose for you?

Hi Jodi,

You will be able to amend your site or template any way you choose with HostGator.

The Wordpress main site also has a whole bunch of really nice template designs (themes) available for upload to your blog installation.

Cheers,
Rosalind

Just a small note of caution, phpBB has many security problems. Make sure you're subscribed with them to get the latest news.

You can also try www.simplemachines.org which is fast becoming a very popular forum. (I have no affiliation with them)
