Hi all:
I want to know, do I really need a web site if I do affiliate marketing? If so, why?
They usually have a web site that People are send to.
If I do need one, what should be on it? And what would I use it for? And how would I permote it? and Where would I put it up at?
This is all new to me and I need all of the help that I can get.
Thank You

Hello EdgarO,
Phew! What a lot of questions... which of course is a good thing.
First of all, yes, I always recommend that every affiliate build their
own web site.
The reason for that is to build a list of opt in subscribers, which you cannot do when you send traffic directly from Google to your merchants' sites.
To do well in affiliate marketing, you want to review/endorse the products that you promote.
Take a look at my dating site Sage-Hearts.com for an example of an affiliate review site. Check around and take a look at the sites listed by other posters here in the forum for some good examples of article/endorsment affiliate sites and you'll get a good idea of what you need to do.
Then visit the rest of the NPT site for site building information... or read about it in my book!
Wish you all the best!
Cheers,
Rosalind |
